Helping children breathe through the nose, awake and asleep, until it becomes second nature.

What this is

Breathing is easy to overlook because it happens on its own, but the way a child breathes during the day and at night is something families can learn about and practise together. I teach the practical side of that, mostly nose breathing and a handful of short exercises that fit into ordinary days at home.

I’m not a clinician, so if your child is already seeing one, think of this as something that sits alongside their care.

For clinicians

Could we talk for 15 minutes?

I’m in the early stages of shaping this service, and I’d much rather build it around what you’re seeing in your clinic each week than around my own assumptions.

If you’re a myofunctional therapist, speech pathologist, orthodontist, paediatric dentist or sleep clinician working in Sydney, the Central Coast, Newcastle or Lake Macquarie, I’d love to hear what families find hard to keep up between appointments. I’m not selling anything or looking for referrals at this stage, just trying to understand where something like this might be useful.

About

Marina

I live in Lake Macquarie, NSW, with my family, and I’m currently working through my Oxygen Advantage functional breathing certification. Being a parent myself, I’ve learnt that a plan only works if it can survive a busy weeknight, so that’s the test I hold everything to.
